Araminta Village represents a project supported by The Sum (a 501c3):
This Wednesday, December 2, ONLINE
Here's the zoom link:
1. First Step is to attend an informational meeting. During the pandemic, these will be announced via the Meetup system and will be held on Zoom. Please go to www.meetup.com, enter Araminta Village, and register!
2. Second step is to complete the Power of Difference Assessment (online) and receive an hour-long consultation.
3. Third, if it feels like a good fit for both parties a person may then become a provisional member and attend planning meetings. The addition of provisional members will occur in a racially balanced way. This means, as an example, that it may require a person who is white to wait until another person of color becomes a provisional member. Provisional members may participate in conversations but not in the consensus decisions.
4. Lastly, after attending 5 planning meetings a person may request membership. This will be determined by a consensus of existing members.
LET'S CREATE and ENJOY TOGETHER:
A deeply democratic,
queer friendly, multifaith, COMMUNITY
(with affordable housing options) that honors and celebrates the mosaic of our differences, our common humanity, and our planet.
